Itinerary:

Day 01:
|
Arrive New Jalpaiguri at 1110 hrs and drive to Phuntsoling (3 hrs). Overnight at Hotel Namgay or similar.

Day 02:
|
Phuntsoling– Paro
Morning complete visa formalities and drive to Paro (7 hrs drive), en route visit Kharbandi Goemba. Overnight at Tigers Nest Resort or similar.
|
|
Day 03:
|
Paro – Punakha / Wangdue – Witness Wangdue Tsechu
Early morning drive to Punakha/Wangdue (4-5 hrs drive) passing via Dochu La Pass (3150m). Afternoon witness Wangdue Tsechu held in the cobbled courtyard of Wangdue Dzong. Overnight at Damchen Resort.

Day 04:
|
In Punakha / Wangdue – Witness Wangdue Tsechu
Full day in Wangdue to witness Wangdue Tsechu. Afternoon visit Punakha dzong and time permitting make a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (divine mad monk's temple). Overnight at Damchen Resort.

Day 05:
|
Punakha – Thimphu – Witness Thimphu Tsechu
Early morning return drive to Thimphu in time to attend the Thimphu Tsechu held in Tashichhodzong. Full day at the festival.
Overnight at Hotel Wangchuk.

Day 06:
|
In Thimphu – Witness Thimphu Tsechu
Full day in Thimphu to witness the festival in Tashichhodzong. Afternoon visit textile museum, Drubthob nunnery, King's Memorial Chorten, and stroll around town visiting the handicraft shops. Overnight at Hotel Wangchuk.

Day 07:
|
Thimphu – Trongsa
Morning drive to Trongsa (6-7 hours drive) via Wangduephodrang. The drive traverses several high passes and the scene is spectacular. On arrival in Trongsa, check into your hotel. Time permitting visit Trongsa Dzong and stroll around the small town.
Overnight at Hotel Norling.

Day 08:
|
Trongsa - Bumthang
Morning drive via Yotong La to Bumthang (3 hrs drive. Afternoon explore Jakar valley visiting Jambay, Kurjey and Tamshing Lhakhangs, Jakar dzong- Castle of the White Bird. Overnight at Mipham Guest House.

Day 09:
|
Witness Tangbi Mani Tsechu and drive to Wangdue Morning witness the 1st day of Tangbi Mani Tsechu. Afternoon drive back to Wangdue (6 hrs. drive). Overnight at Damchen Resort.

Day 10:
|
Wangdue - Phuntsoling
Early morning drive to Phuntsholing (10 hrs. drive). Lunch enroute at Bunakha. On arrival in Phuntsholing check into your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Namgay or similar.

Day 11:
|
Phuntsoling – Bangdogra – Kalimpong
After breakfast switch transport and exit Phuntsholing for Kalimpong (end of services). You will be transferred to Kalimpong using a Toyota Qualis.
