Apa’s 20 times & Jordan the youngest to atop Everest ::

Apa Sherpa, 49, has broken his own record by reaching the top of the highest peak in the world for 20th time on May 22.
Apa reached the summit leading an expedition to raise awareness about education opportunities in the Everest region though “Apa Sherpa Foundation”, which is dedicated for increasing educational opportunities for children in the Himalayan region.

Apa first ascent to Mt Everest summit was in 1989 and has returned to climb the mountain almost every year since then.
Also a thirteen-year-old American boy Jordan Romero has broken the record of youngest person to climb Mt Everest (8,848m). He reached to the summit via Tibetan side on May 22.
Romero climbed Mt Everest from northern side as Nepal does not issue climbing permit to persons below 16 years of age.
