International Photographic Everest Expedition 2011
International Photographic Everest Expedition 2011 is specially organize for professional & armature photographer from all over the world. This Expedition is focused for photography of Sherpa culture, Sherpa climbers and their daring contribution during climbing, spectacular face to face views of Khumbu glacier, Khumbu Icefall, Death Zone, Hilary step as well as the breathtaking view from 8848m. summit. This expedition would be the first ever summit meeting at so called Roof of the World.
Even though the highest mountain in the world has been conquered many times till date since the first conquest, Everest is still as mysterious, beguiling and magnificent as ever. Standing incredibly tall silhouetted against the shared sky of Nepal and Tibet, this mountain has many names; Chomolungma, Sagarmatha, Qomolungam or Mt. Everest. Which ever name one chooses, its mystery still lives on. It was first climbed by Sir E. Hillary & Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in 1953.

Itinerary:
Day 1 :
Arrive in Kathmandu. Receive and transfer to hotel. Evening, traditional Nepali well come dinner await for you. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2-4 :
Kathmandu - Prepared Expedition & Briefing in Ministry of Tourism
Day 5 :
Fly Kathmandu - Lukla & trek to Phakding (2640m)
Day 6-20 :
Trek up to the Base Camp (5400m). Overnights: Lodge/Camp
Day 21 :
Base Camp – preparation for climbing
Days 22-62 :
Climbing Period for Mt. Everest (route map)
Days 63 :
Final preparation to leave Base Camp
Day 64-68 :
Trek back from BC Lukla. Overnights: Lodge.
Day 69 :
Fly Lukla - Kathmandu. Overnight: hotel.
Day 70-71 :
Free days. Spare days, those can be used in case of flight from Lukla delayed/cancelled. Overnight at hotel.
Day 72 :
Departure. Transfer to airport for final departure.
