Tourist Visa Procedure:
Foreigner who intends to visit Nepal must hold valid passport or any travel document equivalent to passport issued by the Govt. for visiting a foreign country prior to apply for visa.

Entry
No foreigner is entitled to enter into and stay in the Kingdom of Nepal without valid visa. Tourist entry visa can be obtained for the following duration from Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or other mission offices or immigration offices located on entry points in Nepal.

Visa Fee
Visa Fee required to obtain Tourist Visa from Nepalese diplomatic agencies and entry points:

US $ 25 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 15 days.

US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days.

US $ 100 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 100 days

Regardless of the provision stated in 1(a) and 1(b), tourists with passport from South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) nations aren't required to pay visa fee for 30 days.

Fee Required To Extend Duration Of Visa Or Renew Visa :
US $ 2 or equivalent Nepalese currency per day for extension.

Additional US $ 20 or equivalent Nepalese currency on visa fee as per 2(b), if Multiple Entry facility is required for the extended period.

If foreign visitors that haven't renewed their visa want to renew their visa, they have to pay additional Nepalese currency equivalent to US 3$ on the regular visa extension fee.

Foreign visitors who have overstayed the visa period of 150 days without extension are required to pay visa fee as per provision in 2(c) and punishment as per Clause 10 sub-clause 4 of Immigration Act 2049.

Regardless of provision stated in 2(a), 15 days is counted as minimum extension period and visa fee is charged accordingly. For extension period more than 15 days, visa fee is charged as per the provision of 2(a).

Entering to Lhasa via mainland China:
If you are planning to arrive in Lhasa via mainland China, you would need to apply for your Chinese visa from the Chinese Embassy in your country.

Once you have the Chinese visa, you will need to scan the visa and email it to us along with the copy of your passport. Both the documents should be clear and readable otherwise it will be rejected by the Tibet Travel Bureau in Tibet (TTB).

Please note that you would not be eligible for the Tibet travelling permit without the Chinese visa.

On the basis of the copies of the Chinese visa and passport, we will apply for your Tibet entry permit from the TTB.
With the combination of the Tibet permit and Chinese visa you would be allowed to enter Tibet from the mainland China.

Once your Tibet permit is issued, you can collect it from anywhere in mainland China where you are supposed to arrive or have it delivered at your hotel you would be staying while in mainland China at an extra charge of USD 30 for courier.

Entering Tibet via Kathmandu or go overland via Zhangmu or Simikot border
On the other hand, if you are planning to fly to Lhasa via Kathmandu or go overland via Zhangmu or Simikot border, you would need to arrive in Kathmandu atleast 2 to 6 days (if you want to apply for the minimum visa - normal charge) before your entry into Tibet.

Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu issues visas only on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 0900 hrs to 1100 hrs.

Travelers are thus required to arrive in Kathmandu a day prior to the visa issuing days to enable us to get Chinese/Tibet visa for them.
In order to get the Tibet visa, we would need to show your original passport at the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu. As such, our operating officer who would be at the airport to receive and transfer you to your respective hotel would collect the passport from you and get the visa.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Do not apply for the Chinese visa in your country if you are intending to travel to Tibet via Kathmandu (Nepal). If you had applied for the Chinese visa in your country prior to arrival in Kathmandu, it would be automatically cancelled when we get the Tibet visa for you here in Kathmandu.

The Chinese/Tibet visa you get in Kathmandu is a “group visa” and is not entered in travelers’ passports but on a separate sheet of paper - be it one person or a group consisting of two or more persons.

Visa & Entry Procedure
These are subject to change and depend on whether you join the trip in Kathmandu or China. If you are joining the trip in Kathmandu you will need a multiple entry visa for Nepal which can be obtained either from your nearest Nepalese consulate or on arrival in Nepal.

For Tibet, we organize a group visa, and in order to do this we will need a copy of your passport at least 20 days prior to the commencement of your trip, followed by your actual passport five days before the visa issuing days. If you are entering via mainland China you have to obtain Chinese visa from you home country. Visa regulation in Tibet keep changing please ask us for latest Tibet visa information.

Visa
Valid passports and an entry visa are essential except Indian & Bangladeshi National. Travelers to Bhutan are permitted only as a member of a commercially organized tour group. This can be done directly or through a travel agent abroad.

Visa clearances are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Thimpu and must be obtained before departing for Bhutan. At your port of entry your visa will be stamped in your passport on payment of US$ 40, you will also require two passport photos. Extension of visas, for up to 6 months, can be obtained in Thimpu at a cost of Nu. 510.

Note: Visas cannot be obtained at Bhutanese embassies. Three copies of original passport size photograph are required on arrival. Visa fee is Us$ 20 and Us$ 10 as a tourism development must be paid on arrival. Visa can be further extended with an additional fee of Us$ 15. We can arrange visa .

Restricted entry: Entry into Bhutan from Assam of India, is not allowed. Tourists to Bhutan are obliged to use Druk Air (the only airline serving Bhutan) either on entering or leaving the country). Valid passport required by all. except nationals of India.

Note: There are two ways of entering Bhutan: by air to Paro Airport or by road to the Bhutanese border town of Phuntosholing. All travelers entering the country by road must ensure that they have the necessary documentation for transiting through that part of India to Phuntsholing.

Application to: Visa applications for all tourists processed by the travel/tour agent through the Tourism Authority of Bhutan (TAB). Only once the visa has been cleared can visitors travel to Bhutan. Visas are issued on arrival at Paro Airport or at Phuntsholing check post.

Working days required: Applications should be made 2 weeks in advance of the intended date of departure.

India Tourist Visa
An India tourist visa has a validity of either 6 months, 5 years or 10 years. This is a multiple entry visa. Each entry has a limited duration of 6 months. This means that the maximum amount of time you can stay after entering the country is 6 months. Once you exit, you must wait for a period of 2 months before re-entering unless you obtain special permission.

Being a strategically located state, in addition to their visas, foreigners need to obtain a special Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Sikkim. An ILP will be issued free of cost by Indian Embassies and Missions abroad and Sikkim Tourism Offices in Delhi, Kolkata, Siliguri and Rangpo ( entry point to Sikkim).
Inner Line Permit: This applies to any foreigner visiting Sikkim.

It can be collected from Sikkim House in Calcutta or New Delhi.It can also be collected from the entry point into Sikkim, at Rangpo. Some of the destinations within Sikkim come under Restricted or Protected Categories. These areas can be accessed either with special permission from Sikkim Police, or in the case of certain destinations, the Ministry of Defence, New Delhi has to issue special written permits.

Tourist Visa
Passport must have at least six months remaining validity

- Travelers who are visiting friends and relatives should provide an invitation letter from the friends or relatives in Pakistan.
- If your host or relative is a Pakistani citizen please provide a copy for their passport main page or national ID.
- If your host is a non-Pakistani citizen please provide a copy of their passport main page and valid Pakistan visa.
- Copy of hotel confirmation is required.
